This Privacy Policy explains how MindQuest (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our mobile application and related services. By using MindQuest, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

• Profile & gameplay data — quiz progress, scores, streaks, achievements, leaderboard ranking, country/region selection, and in-app preferences.
• Virtual currency — coin balance and records of coin pack purchases.
• Purchase information — subscription and in-app purchase status processed through Apple App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
• Device & usage data — device type, operating system, app version, crash logs, and anonymized analytics to improve stability and performance.
• Support communications — messages you send us, including account deletion requests submitted through our website form.

3. how we use information

We use your information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the MindQuest app and its features;
• Save your progress, sync data across sessions, and display leaderboard results;
• Process subscriptions, coin purchases, and restore purchases where supported;
• Send important service-related communications when necessary;
• Detect abuse, fraud, and technical issues;
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

4. legal bases (where applicable)

Depending on your location, we process personal data based on performance of a contract (providing the app), legitimate interests (security and product improvement), your consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations.

5. sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with trusted service providers who help us operate MindQuest, including:

• Firebase / Google Cloud — authentication, database, hosting, and analytics;
• RevenueCat — subscription and in-app purchase management;
• Apple & Google — sign-in and store billing when you use those services.

These providers process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

6. data retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal requirements. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as purchase records.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

MindQuest is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Your information may be processed in countries other than Kazakhstan, including countries where our service providers operate. We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
